    Rain Songs Break Drought

    “Rain Songs” Break Drought !

New words to easy tunes tell how to bring Rain & Vitality to Australia with “Rain Songs”

Songs include Christmas, Folk A’Cap & Rap for Singing Up The Land !!

In the beginning is the word – and the words were sung with power and passion the night before the heaviest rainfalls in over a year were experienced across eastern Australia.

The night before the drought breaking rains of December 2002, an Avalon singing group, “A’Cappella ‘Round the Bends” sang a series of “Rainmaking” songs written by Richard O’Neill for “Ocean & Outback”. The songs were written with new words to well known tunes, with the intention of enabling people to quickly “sing-up” and energize themselves and the environment – it WORKED !!! and Avalon, the sing-up centre had the heaviest rainfall in the metropolitan area.

Also, the substantial rains around June 15, 2005 coincided with a Rain Making Journey & ceremonies to Central Australia and Bush University in the Kimberley, where much of Australia’s rain begins.  Details at https://australianvisions.com.au/vitality-toolkits/rain-songs-toolkit/

Now the Rain Songs & lessons of Rainmaking are available on the Rain Songs CD and in a Rain Making Toolkit, which includes the songs as an MP3 download or CD, techniques and a rain dance for “Country, Kids & Communities”.  – Try it – it works !!

The kit is ideal for schools, councils or community groups, and workshops are offered by Richard “the Rainmaker” to help bring rain and new vitality especially to drought affected areas.

Rainmaking is practiced by most ancient cultures – and the science is now beginning to be understood.  Richard, who bridges ancient wisdom with a scientific background, works with the effects of nature’s subtle frequencies and songlines. He also delivers vitality & creativity training programs for organizations and communities.

Richard is an outback tour operator, engineer & business consultant to some of Australia’s leading companies and says “Communities can “sing-up” rain by increasing harmonic resonance between Earth’s songlines, sacred sites & people – this is an ancient but largely neglected science.”

Aboriginal Elder, Aunty Beryl Carmichael says “My father, the late Jack Kelly was the last rainmaker in the Broken Hill area – singing & chanting is very powerful – it comes straight from within the soul in our language – we sing up fish, rain, and are the custodians of the birthing song of this region”. If our methods are not working, perhaps listen to those who have been here 60,000 years.

Creating FUN & VITALITY by Celebrating Nature is the reason behind 2 other toolkits ie “Song & Dance for the Trees Events” Toolkit (details at www.danceforthetrees.com ) and Australian Visions “Big Picture” Toolkit – for Peacing Our World Together. They are ideal for teachers & community leaders.

For centuries Aboriginal people have danced on the land of Australia for all purposes of sacred
ceremonies. In turning the pages in history of Aboriginal people and their culture is that it is
ancient and is filled with over 400+ Nations and 200+ languages spoken. This unique web of

design across the whole continent is manifested with many songs and dances that tell stories of
who we are and where we come from. It gives us our identity.

Dancing on country is a respectable attribute to honour to your people and nation of which you
come from. It’s the culture within dancing that glorifies our ancestors & our creation stories. It
provides the spiritual healing of self and your environment.

Aboriginal people always have maintained the belonging to land and not land belonging to us.
Its a balance of nature and human that go hand in hand together. The Nation Dance calls on all 400+ Nations to Dance as one in time across the whole continent.

With now the modern day usage of technology we have had the opportunity to connect with each other from all over in an instant. This platform allows us to share and create unity.

There is a great trauma happening to the lands in Australia with bushfires, rivers drying up,
fracking, deforestation & protection of sacred sites. All these are rippling into community’s health

and well being on a human level and with the despair of changes from federal appointed leaders
we need to uplift ourselves within our communities from rural to costal and big cities. To enshrine the humanity and unity of people to make important changes for the sacred land.

Nation Dance hopes to encompass many traditional dancing from many Nations sharing
together. For the first time in history to dance as one in time. Planning of this has been created through social media by original post of The Message Stick Walk with attached group called
Nation Dance to have all people upload videos of the day dancing. Below are the attached links
for the Nation Dance event happening on the 1st December 2019.

Social capital – voluntary association, trust and social equity – will be seen as more important to our future than economic capital. Australia will also be a more inclusive society than it is at present. There will be a high level of community engagement in decision-making processes, particularly at the local level, with all inputs being given due consideration. This will invariably lead to better outcomes. As a consequence, Australians will have a higher level of trust amongst themselves and with their decision-making institutions than at any time in the past.

Mowanjum Raindance – Elders Vision So The Children Can Dream

“The elders must have a Vision … so the children can dream” ….. David Mowaljarlai AOM

Mowaljarlais Vision included to bring the Wandjina spirit to Sydney for the Olympic Games, to share it with the World …. Wandjina emerged in the opening ceremony as sacred ground was re-created through song and dance, and Cathy Freeman ignited the ancient flame in our heart.

The Ngarinyin, Wandjina people of the Kimberley, have a particular vision for themselves and Australia. Reflecting their philosophy, they see their future as a co-cultural one; a relationship between white Australia culture and Ngarinyin culture where the two Laws walk side by side in a relationship of cooperation, sharing and mutual benefit. A synergy of interactivity between the two cultures.
